Sitting Rooms and Interiors

Mr B's brief to us was to keep the equipment as invisible as possible and to have the lowest achievable noise levels.

Experience with studio air conditioning led us to propose ducted type split systems with specially attenuated noise reducing ductwork.

The indoor units are hidden in the attic with the only part of the system visible from inside the house being the white ceiling mounted grilles.

Like most conservatories Mr T's gets excessively hot in the summer.

The requirement was for an economical solution for cooling and heating this moderately sized conservatory, without the use of an outdoor unit.

A perfect application for a self contained Olimpia Unico unit.

Domestic kitchens can often be one of the hottest rooms in the house.

In the case of Mrs J's kitchen this was made worse by the presence of an oil fired Aga range - which cannot be turned off. In the height of summer this constant heat coupled with heat gains from adjacent areas made the kitchen unbearably hot.

Our solution was to install a Mitsubishi M Series high level wall mounted split system. The indoor unit was located above the work surface with the external unit at low level outside next to the dustbin.

Bedrooms often suffer from high temperatures because of their upstairs location which is subject to high solar gain from the roof.

This was ceratinly the case in Mr C's house in Stockport. The two children's bedrooms in the attic area got too hot from spring right through to autumn.

There was also a requirement to keep the master bedroom cool at night, as the client was unable to sleep with windows open as a result of suffering from a pollen allergy.

Our solution was to install a Mitsubishi M Series multisplit system comprising three indoor units and one external unit at low level at the rear.

Carefull planning of pipework routes mean that there is no pipework or wiring on show.
